It is really a shame that this has to happen. It would be so much easier to pick it up and dispose of it right away. Left to nature, dog waste contaminates our lakes, rivers and streams.
Paul, You’re right, it’s a shame… but by far most people in this area pick up their pup’s poo. What’s happening in this case, I think, is that the one or two in the community (I bet only one, here!) who don’t pick up are messing things up for everybody else – kids, babies, dads, moms, dogs, people in general, soccer players, softball players, frisbee throwers, and us. It’s a beautiful new field… It only takes that one who sees it as a personal toilet!
