A beautiful new field of grass

A beautiful new field of lush grass has just opened up north of Ping Tom Park!

… and some sad fellow has already started leaving poos for the rest of us to find!

Here you go (at the north edge of the grassy area):

Our friend is still going strong.

It is really a shame that this has to happen. It would be so much easier to pick it up and dispose of it right away. Left to nature, dog waste contaminates our lakes, rivers and streams.

Paul, You’re right, it’s a shame… but by far most people in this area pick up their pup’s poo. What’s happening in this case, I think, is that the one or two in the community (I bet only one, here!) who don’t pick up are messing things up for everybody else – kids, babies, dads, moms, dogs, people in general, soccer players, softball players, frisbee throwers, and us. It’s a beautiful new field… It only takes that one who sees it as a personal toilet!

    More poop for you!

Two days ago. The picture is ‘artfully’ gauzy… but our bet is that it’s the same person / same dog.
