A Naperville woman accused of throwing dog poop at a neighbor’s home dodged a different kind of bullet Monday when a judge dismissed a disorderly conduct charge filed against her.

Susan Miller allegedly hurled the dog droppings at a neighboring home on Sept. 15 because she was upset about stepping in the smelly stuff outside her own house.

Miller pitched the poop because she believed the neighbor’s dog had done its duty near her house, police said.

She also was accused of taking a warning sign asking residents to pick up after their pets and leaving it on the neighbor’s patio. The charge was dismissed after the neighbor failed for the second time to appear in court.
