For C, I think this is a trick question… While you can see some of the piles left by those Grant Bark Park users who don’t seem to give a $H!# about others, or the park, or were perhaps distracted when it happened, there are others who also don’t give a you know what about the rest of the world, but do go to the ‘trouble’ of kicking pea gravel on top of their pup’s poops, to ‘hide’ it.

Both types are reprehensible in my opinion, but somehow the ones that ‘hide’ their piles, are intrinsically more socially unacceptable to me. I get it that sometimes the dog guardian is not paying attention, and can occasionally miss their dog’s ‘activity’, and if I ever am witness to this at GBP, I usually yell out something like ‘German Shepherd is pooping, is this GS your dog?’ and if someone springs into action I give them a big ‘Thanks!!!’ and a smile.

But, when it comes down to it, people very much come to know their dog’s #2 habits. They should anticipate it, and be prepared for it, and do the right thing.
